BLOOD ON THE BEACH...

It was back around 1956 or so,
When an upcoming actress, Marlyn Devereaux,
Was shooting a film called "Beach Blonde Bambina"--
It sounds pretty cheesy, such crappy patina!

Marlyn was a hottie, with wavy hair golden,
Her lips full and luscious, her bosom upholden
By a fetching pink polka-dot torpedo bikini--
Marlyn thought it was rather too teeny!

The director yelled "ACTION!"--Marlyn skipped on the shore,
Where her co-star was waiting, handsome Robert Yore,
Leaning on a surfboard with a big stupid grin---
Just then something dreadful started to begin!

A huge slimy tentacle, massive and dark,
Shot out of the water as fast as a shark--
It wrapped around Robert and started to squeeze:
Yore tried to scream "HELP!" but he could barely wheeze!

Several more tentacles lashed through the air,
One grabbed Robert's head by his shock of black hair
And tore all the skin off his scalp and his face--
It was gruesome, blood splattered all over the place!

The director was screaming, the cameraman fainted;
Marlyn stared in horror at the white sand now painted
With her co-star's insides--but her fear turned to rage
At the monster who threatened her career to upstage!

She ran to her trailer, pulled on a white dress
And grabbed her trusty shotgun that she called "Big Bess":
Her daddy had told her, when she moved to the city,
To always go armed, and to shoot without pity!

She charged down the beach, where the monster was looming--
A Kraken, no less!  Her shotgun started booming
As Marlyn waded fearlessly into the bloody surf,
To avenge Robert Yore and defend her turf!

Three tentacles shot off, the monster was flailing;
Up from the deep came a gurgly wailing
As the blonde poured hot lead into slimy dark flesh...
As you can imagine, 'twas one hell of a mess!

One last tentacle wrapped around Marlyn's hips
As the monstrous head popped up, licking its lips;
She aimed straight at the huge horrid red glaring eye
And Big Bess's last round caused the Kraken to die!

They used the footage for a new monster flick,
Which was a smash hit, though the critics were sick;
And Marlyn Devereaux became a big star,
Her gun and her talents both took her quite far.
